BHW's inaugural "Mentoring Women in Science" initiative!

This summer, BioHealthWays has initiated a new program for high school and undergraduate women interested in biotechnology. We are excited to host two women, Sarah Chen and Alexandra Berman, who have demonstrated interest in the field of biotechnology.

Both Sarah and Alex have agreed to help out this summer in our Brooklyn lab at the Downstate Biotech Incubator.

As a result of this program, reports in three categories are created, a rare opportunity for mentees to witness and apply their talents to real problems affecting a startup in biotech. Topics are matched to mentees' capabilities and interests.

  1. Lab Research topic
  2. Lab General topic
  3. Business topic

Join me in welcoming our first mentees in the inaugural "Mentoring Women in Science Initiative"!
